The Math Webinar in English with WiSTEM took place on Wednesday, September 27th, 2023 from 5 pm until 6 pm with Caroline Farkas, dedicated math educator and the founder of Doodles and Digits, as our invited speaker. This virtual event was free and open to the general public.
In this Math Webinar in English, Caroline Farkas presented on “The Importance of Making Math Relatable and Visual”. The speaker explained why it is convenient to make math visuals and what makes a math visual good. Caroline Farkas described four examples of math visuals and then presented the benefits of creating math videos. This virtual event was co-organized by Women in STEM (WiSTEM).
