The seventeenth Math Webinar in English took place on Wednesday, August 10th, 2022 from 4 pm until 5:30 pm with David Hall, actor, STEM presenter and executive coach, as our invited speaker. This virtual event was free and open to the general public.
In this seventeenth Math Webinar in English, David Hall presented on “Mathmagics!” The speaker explained exponential growth, right angles, the number pi, infinity, among other math concepts, by using magic. David Hall also mentioned Ada Lovelace, Florence Nightingale, John Napier, Katherine Johnson and other mathematicians who made an impact in history. This virtual event was co-organized by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA).
