The twenty-second Math Webinar in English took place on Thursday, February 9th, 2023 from 5 pm until 6 pm with Barbara Schindelhauer, Co-author of “Let’s Visit Numberland”, international trainer and presenter, and advocate for early maths through the eyes of children since 2004, as our invited speaker. This virtual event was free and open to the general public.
In this twenty-second Math Webinar in English, Barbara Schindelhauer presented on “Let’s Visit Numberland”. The speaker explained that just as we live in our homes, in Numberland numbers also have their own homes with their own gardens that can be decorated with flowers and fruits. Barbara Schindelhauer showed how we can explore relevant math concepts connecting adventure with the daily activities of children and role playing.
