The Webinar on Functions and Math Golf took place on Thursday, May 5th, 2022 from 4 pm until 5 pm with Professor Michael Soler from Spain, specialist in virtual reality, service robotics and educational applications for mobile phones, as our invited speaker. This virtual event was free and open to the general public.
The invited speaker presented a multiplatform application based on mental calculation that can be used in the computer and in the mobile phone. Michael Soler explained that in this application called Math Golf, the objective is that the player hits the golf ball into every hole by assigning different values to the variables of a function. The speaker also showed linear, quadratic, rational and exponential functions as examples.
