The Webinar on Geometry to Sample Food took place on Friday, March 25th, 2022 from 12 pm until 1 pm, with David Orden, member of the Spanish Mathematical Royal Society (RSME), as our invited speaker. This virtual event was free and open to the general public.
The speaker explained what sampling food means and how it works. David Orden then described the SensoGraph program in which you place similar concepts close to each other and different concepts far away from each other. For example, in the virtual event we made an experiment in which the participants compared the following foods: pizza, pasta, paella, sushi, tacos, hot dog, hamburger, sandwich, fried chicken and fish & chips. This virtual event was co-organized with the Spanish Mathematical Royal Society (RSME).
