The Webinar on Robotics in Medicine took place on Friday, February 26th, 2021 from 12 pm until 1 pm, with Cecilia Morales, mechanical and biomedical engineer specializing in robotics, as our invited speaker. This virtual event was free and open to the general public.
The invited speaker shared her personal and professional journey and her motivation to work on artificial intelligence. Cecilia Morales then taught us how to program our own robot. The speaker also presented on how mathematics form an integral part of her research and described some inventions on robotics in medicine that do not seek to replace doctors but rather to help them and increase their capacities.
