In this webinar, we will discuss the fascinating world of synesthesia—a neurological phenomenon where senses intertwine, creating extraordinary perceptual experiences. Exploring the connection between music and color, this webinar will examine musical chromesthesia, with Radiohead’s particularly vivid colors as a case study. From tempo experiments to synesthetic color maps, we will uncover how musical elements shape compositions. We will also analyze the musical aspects necessary for particular synesthetic colors, shown through the use of the Fibonacci sequence as the melody.
