Student Creations

 

In honor of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2023, the student from Spain Judith Lopez has sent us a Math Comic where she shares the life of three female mathematicians and asserts the importance of women in science. We thank our volunteer Rafa Oliver from Spain for making this connection.

In honor of the International Day of Mathematics 2023, the students from Panama Ula Taha and Andrea Simon have sent us a Puzzle Book titled “Fly Around Asia with Luan” and the students from Panama Tarizi Castillo and Areli Gonzalez, a Puzzle Book titled “Let’s Go on Safari with Mali”. In honor of the Fibonacci Day 2023, the students from Panama Alexandra Avecilla and Alyssa Stoute have sent us a Puzzle Book titled “Tora’s Asian Tour” and the students from Panama Kathleen Castillo and Sophia Marie Almanza, a Puzzle Book titled “The Adventures of Chito the Curious”.

In honor of the International Day for Women in Mathematics 2024, the students from Panama Emma Chávez and Catherine Acosta have sent us a Puzzle Book titled “A Frozen Adventure with Hari” and the students from Panama Yayquel Peñaloza and Yaneris Mejías, a Puzzle Book titled “Benjie Lost in America”. We thank our graphic designer Nicole Hazera from Panama for these initiatives.
