The thirty-first Math Webinar in English took place on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 from 5 pm until 6 pm with Sabine Segre, Senior Lecturer at Achva Academic College in Israel, as our invited speaker. This virtual event was free and open to the general public.
In this thirty-first Math Webinar in English, Sabine Segre presented on “Math Games”. The speaker showed a magic trick, then defined what a fair game is and explained the rules of the math games “Nim” and “Hit the Hundred”. Sabine Segre also described a musical dice game that participants can explore in the link https://dice.humdrum.org. This virtual event was co-organized by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA).
