The Webinar on Introduction to Desmos took place on Saturday, April 8th, 2023 from 2 pm until 3 pm, with Dr. Oscar Perales, Math Advance Team Specialist of Desmos, as our invited speaker. This virtual event was free and aimed at educators.
The invited speaker described how we can use technology to improve the teaching and learning experience. Dr. Oscar Perales explained how Desmos started with a graphic calculator (Desmos Studio) and later enabled featured collections of activities in Desmos Classroom, that can be accessed for free. The speaker also clarified that opening a Desmos account is free and invited the participants to continue exploring the free resources that Desmos offers on their website https://www.desmos.com. This virtual event was co-organized with Desmos.
