Abstract: vZome is a software application that explores “exact geometry”. While most people think of it (and use it) as a design tool for Zometool models, it is not limited to that geometry. vZome generalizes the mathematics of Zometool to other symmetry groups and other algebraic number systems (fields). It does this while adhering to the principle of exact computation: all operations are performed as integer arithmetic, so roundoff error is impossible. It also adheres to the aesthetic of Zometool, using color and shape to identify vectors within a symmetry group representation.
