On Saturday, December 20th, 2025 we ran the SIGMAA REC Puzzle Jam. This free virtual event open to the general public was given by our Executive Director, Dr. Jeanette Shakalli, in which the speaker explained the benefits of solving puzzles and shared several number sequence challenges and toothpick puzzles accessible to all ages. This interactive session was organized by SIGMAA REC, which is the Special Interest Group on Recreational Mathematics of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA), together with FUNDAPROMAT.
