Abstract: Calculus is usually presented as the culmination of years of algebra and geometry. However, suppose we could describe the core concepts without algebra, but instead with LEGO bricks, 3D prints, and a few household items. In this webinar, the invited speakers will demonstrate their models that do just that from their book “Make: Calculus” and discuss how they can be used to teach younger students and those who learn differently.
