In this Math Webinar in English, Joan Horvath and Rich Cameron presented on “Learning Calculus with LEGO Bricks and 3D Prints”. The speakers commented that their purpose is to create math experiments with hands-on models to teach geometry, intuition and applications and then tie them to algebra. Joan Horvath and Rich Cameron showed several of their hands-on models, that include Lego bricks and 3D prints, and taught the audience how they use them to teach calculus concepts in a simple and fun way, even with visually impaired students. This virtual event was co-organized by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA).
