The ninth Virtual MathsJam in Panama took place on Tuesday, January 19th, 2021 from 7 pm until 9 pm. The MathsJam is a monthly opportunity for math enthusiasts who are 18 years and older to share some quality time with like-minded individuals while solving math puzzles and intellectual challenges in a collaborative environment.
This virtual event was free and only for adults. Dr. Jeanette Shakalli, Executive Director of FUNDAPROMAT, acted as the moderator. In this event, participants solved different math challenges using their creativity and imagination. In particular, we discussed the solution of a puzzle that was presented in the last MathsJam of 2020, which involves a curious sequence of numbers.
